Villa Park was recorded in the DuPage County Recorder's Office in 1908 and was a relatively new, sparsely populated village that grew up along the tracks between Chicago, Aurora and Elgin. When we moved in, there were only a few houses in the villa park that were marked with a "V" on the front door and no trace of other buildings.
